Many people choose to make a scrapbook with the theme of their wedding. There are many beautiful pages to include in such a book, including the following ideas.
Start with a wedding-related background
One creative idea is to use some wrapping paper that you got from an actual wedding present as your background. You could also purchase wedding wrapping paper yourself specifically for this purchase. You might also be able to take a gift bag and cut it so that it fits nicely as the background. They make many papers specifically for scrapbooks that have a wedding theme and you can also use a pretty white or ivory paper. You can also use the color that was in your wedding.
Place in photographs
A great addition to any wedding scrapbook page are some photographs from the big day. You might put in one big picture or a collage of many different ones.
Place in wedding mementos
There are many mementos from the actual day that you could mount into a scrapbook page. For instance, if you had matchbox covers made with your names and the date, then you can put this in (you might want to remove the matches for safety). If you had napkins printed with the names, then this can go in. Many people will place one of their invitations from the wedding into the scrapbook page. You can also take a flower from the wedding such as from a centerpiece or even from the bride’s bouquet and press it into the page. Think about anything else small that would fit nicely. Perhaps the bride wore a ribbon in her. You might put in the garter or wedding gloves. You can also put in a copy of the wedding vows. You can have a place to keep in some of the special cards that people gave you from the wedding. You can take some of the bride’s perfume and spray it so that it reminds you of the scent.
Use pretty embellishments
There are many gorgeous embellishments that would go well in the wedding scrapbook page. They sell stickers that have this theme. They may be an image of bells, a wedding dress, two doves, and so forth. You can also write in words such as “Just married” or “True love.” You can add attractive elements like glitter, beads and crystals.
A scrapbook page about your wedding can bring back memories to last a lifetime. Many make not just a page but an entire book and have pages decorated to certain aspects of the wedding such as the dress, the flowers, the music, etc. Consider the above ideas when you are putting together your wedding scrapbook pages.
